Glasgow Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund: Information Session

This event is strictly for organisations delivering within the Glasgow City Boundary

The Scottish Government have announced a new Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund which aims to support adult community-based initiatives across Scotland. The fund is worth £15 million for the whole of Scotland, and Glasgow is expected to receive around £1.79 million.

The new fund will help tackle the impact of social isolation, loneliness and the mental health inequalities made worse by the pandemic.

The Glasgow Fund will prioritise projects which help promote community health and wellbeing, and is not intended to support clinical mental health services. There are grants of up to £10,000 available, which must be spent within two years of the grant payment

This information session is an opportunity for organisations delivering in Glasgow to find out more about the fund, criteria for Glasgow and application guidance.

The session will be also be recorded and will be available to view online within a few days of the event.

Speakers include Ian Bruce, CEO, Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector and Bruce Whyte and Katharine Timpson from Glasgow Centre for Population Health who will be reflecting on their report Health in a Changing City: Glasgow 2021

Funding is only available for projects delivered solely within the Glasgow City Boundary.
