Addressing the myths around employing someone with austism

Dates: Wednesday 30th March 2022, 10am – 12pm

FREE 2 hour awareness raising session delivered by Glasgow Supported Employment Service. This session will address the myths around employing someone with autism.

People with autism remain among the most excluded groups in today’s labour market. Yet, research and experience has show that people with disabilities can and do make excellent employees.

This awareness raising session will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about best practice supporting people with autism at work.

This session will be delivered by Angie Black, Service Manager, Glasgow Supported Employment Service

How is the session delivered online?

This course will be delivered online using MS Teams. You can set up a free basic account with MS Teams by visiting www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-teams/log-in

How and when will I receive the joining instructions?

Will handouts/ materials be emailed after the session?

Yes, any handout/ materials will be circulated to those that attended the session.
