Who Can Attend Our Sector Development Sessions ?

Training & Events – For our free sector development training and events, priority is given to any community group, voluntary organisation or social enterprise in Glasgow where the relevant expertise is not otherwise available. Session content should not be used for commercial purposes.

We can accept bookings from Community Interest Companies (CICs) but only where they have an asset lock in place or are wholly owned by another body such as a registered charity.

In addition, if places remain, Glasgow Public Sector partners in support of their partnership working with Glasgow Voluntary Sector and non-Glasgow Voluntary Sector organisations may attend. (Book and we will notify you if we are over capacity on this occasion.).  If you are not sure, or would like to discuss please email sectordev@gcvs.org.uk.

Places are limited to two people per organisation and to ensure the quality of the session, the overall number of attendees will generally be a maximum of 25.  We use ZOOM to host our sessions, so please provide a unique email address for each attendee and let us know in the booking form of any additional access requirements you may have.

One to One Surgery Support – These one to one sessions are strictly for voluntary or community organisations in Glasgow where relevant expertise is not otherwise available.  For other local authority areas, we recommend you contact your local Third Sector Interface.

If you have any further queries, please contact us at  sectordev@gcvs.org.uk.

This opportunity has been developed, planned and will be delivered in partnership with the city-wide Glasgow Capacity Building Group including Glasgow City Council, Volunteer Glasgow, CEIS, GCVS, Jobs & Business Glasgow and Glasgow Life.
