Research Support & Partnerships
We enjoy working closely with the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde, two fantastic academic institutions we are fortunate to have on our doorstep. As a result of our collaboration, organisations can receive assistance in specific areas, while academics and students gain opportunities to enhance their experience and research.
From guest lectures, to student placements and research projects this is a positive partnership we are keen to develop further. Besides benefiting the organisations we support, it also introduces students to the third sector who may then explore this career path in the future.
If you are a board member or manager with a Glasgow third sector organisation and are interested in the benefits of perhaps providing a research opportunity, or placement, to a student please get in touch sectordev@gcvs.org.uk. We also share current opportunities through our Sector Development bulletin – subscribe here to receive that each month.
