Community Connectors

Improving connections with, and for, people over 60 and their carers

Community Connectors is a free and confidential service, connecting older people and their carers to local services, facilities and activities, and providing them with tailored and informed support.

During the last six years GCVS has successfully developed the Community Connectors project which provides older people better access to information and, if they so wish, supports them to access what they need to live healthier and happier lives as independently as possible. The Community Connectors programme is delivered in partnership with the Glasgow & West of Scotland Housing Forum, working alongside local and citywide organisations to strengthen information links between the Third Sector, older people, carers and statutory services.
