Bridges Programmes is in partnership with the British Red Cross, and Scottish Refugee Council and Integration Networks to deliver the Scottish Refugee Integration Service funded by the Big Lottery f The service will assist newly arrived refugees and will focus on allowing those new to Scotland and who may have arrived here under traumatic circumstances, to quickly reclaim their independence as they build their lives in a new country.
Job description:
The caseworker/trainer will be expected to deliver a series of Life Skills courses across Glasgow to mostly newly arrived refugees and assist them with their progression into work experience, further education, training or employment. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong, outcomes based, background in either careers guidance, training or employability. We expect he successful candidate will have outstanding inter-personal skills, and a strong track record of successful outcomes for people far from the labour market.
