Funding recommendations for the Community Facilities Social Enterprise Fund will be submitted to the Executive Committee this week.

The Fund will support local communities to make better use of existing infrastructure; particularly those buildings that are currently underused or face difficulty and has been targeted at those communities already on their way to managing council facilities.

18 organisations have been recommended for various improvement schemes, including for the refurbishment of premises, disability access, kitchen installation and building repairs.  If approved, the fund will pay out £236,700 to the third sector and £100,000 to Jobs and Business Glasgow.
