Post Title: TSI Equalities & Human Rights Project Manager
Hours: Full time (35 hours)
Salary: £32,500 annual salary
Term: Permanent, subject to funding
Responsible to: GCVS Chief Executive
Location: Home based/GCVS office as appropriate

The post-holder will lead a small team working nationally with the network of Third Sector Interfaces to improve both equalities and human rights practice within the third sector.  They’ll play a central role in ensuring that the team are guided and supported in delivering training, guidance and resources for TSIs, third sector organisations and activists across Scotland.

The programme is funded by Scottish Government through the Equality and Human Rights Fund. To ensure national coverage different posts will be employed by Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS), Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council (EVOC) and Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI). This post is hosted by GCVS.

Strong understanding of legislation, good practice, and challenges in the fields of equalities and human rights and their practical application is essential as well as an understanding of the third sector in Scotland and the contribution the sector makes to furthering equalities and human rights.
