Everyone’s Children Project: Development Worker
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £21,791 per annum
Responsible to: Everyone’s Children Project Manager
Term: Fixed Term for one year with a view to extension
Location: GCVS / Home working
Working as part of our Policy and Networks Division, the primary function of the role will be to support the Everyone’s Children project.
The Everyone’s Children team works with third sector organisations across Glasgow that have an interest in children, young people and families. The project aims to ensure that the voice of the third sector is heard in planning, service design and delivery decisions, to develop capacity, to deliver wellbeing outcomes and to share learning. The project is funded by Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). The post holder will support the Everyone’s Children Project Manager by providing development and administrative provision, including researching updates in policy and practice, among other duties as stated in the JD.
Applicants should have excellent research, analytical, organisational and written communication skills and be able to build rapport and work with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Experience of general office administration and up-to-date IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and database software are also essential.
