(WSREC) is looking to recruit the following posts for our new and exciting Minority Ethnic Employment Training and Support Project.

1. Project Manager full time @ £28,000 per annum

2. Project Employment Advisor full time @ £23,000 per annum

3. Project Resource and Admin Officer full time @ £18,000 per annum

(All of the above are funded till 31/03/2018)

Minority Ethnic Employment Training and Support Project is working to deliver an employment and training project which will support people from minority ethnic communities to enhance their prospects within the world of work by targeting people who are economically inactive, with a particular focus on Roma community members, asylum seekers, refugees and minority ethnic individuals who are disabled. The project aims to work strategically with a range of partners including City Building Glasgow, Cordia, Jobcentres, Jobs and Business Glasgow, local Colleges, training providers, regeneration agencies and local authorities to support the pathways of target beneficiaries through provision of training, work placement and advisory services.

West of Scotland Regional Equality Council challenges discrimination, reduces inequality and promotes good relations between all communities. We work closely with minority ethnic communities from across the West of Scotland to identify service needs and gaps and respond to them by delivering short and long term projects which meet these needs. We have achieved accreditation in Investors in People.
