The Village Storytelling Centre is looking to employ an experienced Community Storytelling practitioner to deliver collaborative story-led programmes and events for Early Years Children & Families, and Children & Young People aged 5-12.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly experienced and supportive Storytelling team and to support the development and delivery of our Community Stories programme, which takes place across Greater Pollok and the surrounding communities.

Our Community Stories programme improves lives and empowers communities by bringing people together, inspiring them to find, shape and share their voices and to realise their potential through the power of Storytelling. We provide a journey for people of all ages to access the arts, to engage in & develop their own creativity; to be confident in sharing their ideas, their stories and the stories of their community, ensuring their voices are at the heart of decision making and development.

We are keen to hear from people with significant experience of working the age groups described and with a strong understanding of their various needs and strengths. The successful candidate will be imaginative, dynamic, be committed to accessibility and inclusion, and share our belief that storytelling has the power to change lives.
