Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living is run by disabled people and aims to empower disabled people in Glasgow by providing a variety of housing, employment, training and Self-Directed Support services.

We are currently recruiting for the following: 


SDS Development Worker x 2

Glasgow –  Full time (35 hours per week) Reference SDW/GL/2023

Hamilton – Part time (28 hours per week) Reference SDW/SL/2023 

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our existing support teams in Glasgow and our South Lanarkshire satellite office in Hamilton developing and promoting Self Directed Support.

You will be responsible for providing information, advice, training and guidance to people with a focus on their options for self-directed support and developing a comprehensive community asset map.

With previous experience in an advice and support role along with experience of providing support and / or training using a community development approach.

These posts are currently funded until March 2024 with a further 3 years funding pending.

Salary: AP 4/5 29-32: £25,402 – £27,826 (35 hrs a week)

Part time posts are pro rata.


Inclusive Living Adviser x 2

Airdrie – Full time (35 hours per week) Reference ILA/NL/2023

Kirkintilloch – Part time (25 hours per week) Reference ILA/ED/2023

GCIL Support Service delivers specialist advice and support to individuals either in receipt of, or eligible for Self Directed Support (SDS) from Social Work Services.  This is an exciting opportunity to join these dynamic teams covering East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire and work closely with other GCIL staff in delivering the service in these areas.

Salary: £25,402 – £27,826 (35 hours per week)

Part time posts are pro rata. 

All posts will require PVG scheme membership. 

  • 25 days annual leave increasing to 30 days after 5 years (pro-rata for part time staff)
