During the pandemic, Glasgow’s third sector worked tirelessly to support some of the most vulnerable people within our communities. However, many organisations found that some staff members and volunteers needed support in essential digital skills to act as confident digital champions for their clients.

In partnership with Glasgow City Council and HSCP, Glasgow Life’s Digital Volunteer Development Project’s (DVD) main aim is to rectify this imbalance by ensuring that the city’s third sector have the skills, confidence and ongoing support to engage their clients with online services and opportunities which can make a meaningful difference to their day-to-day lives.

Third sector organisations, their staff and volunteers are being offered FREE digital skills training:

· Essential digital skills
· Intermediate digital skills
· Development of Volunteers to become Digital Champions
· Access to accredited learning opportunities
· Ongoing support from the DVD team
