People are getting into arrears, going hungry and borrowing money from high interest lenders to pay the bedroom tax according to Citizens Advice Scotland.  CAS members have seen a 40% rise in cases about housing benefits since the introduction of the measure.  CAS told members of the Scottish Affairs Committee in the House of Commons that disabled people with home adaptations and those separated from their children, but with access arrangements, are the most affected by the move.
