Raising Funds – Broadening your Targets
This session is an additional FREE workshop from GCVS which complements our First Tuesday Funding Advice Service.
Glasgow organisations are readying themselves to operate in a post IGF world. To survive and thrive, many will have to learn new skills, approach new audiences and ask for support. This session will highlight fundraising opportunities, audiences and techniques which might work for your organisation.
Generating income from grant-making trusts and foundations is covered in our monthly “First Tuesday” sessions, this new course will focus on other income streams and techniques.
Content will include;
Where to find the money…
- Local businesses and the wider corporate sector
- Groups: Schools; Churches; Clubs etc
Techniques: trying something different from your usual..
- Membership and Donor Clubs
- Sponsorship and Adoption
- Regular Giving
- Major Gifts
Places are limited to 2 per organisation and since demand is likely to be high, please book early. The sessions are funded by GCC Integrated Grants Fund and are open to any voluntary or community organisation in Glasgow. Priority will be given to those organisations with an annual income of less than £400,000.
