It’s been over a year since the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection Act 2018 were enforced. Many organisations are still unsure as to how the law affects them, where and how to get started….

This course is for anyone handling personal data within their organisation. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the principles of GDPR and Data Protection, providing sufficient knowledge to better navigate the path towards compliance and put an ‘Action Plan’ in place.
What are the processing fees added to the price?

What’s the refund policy?
Refunds will only be given if notification has been received by the Customer Services Team before the 9th September 2019. Cancellations after this date will NOT received a refund. Purchasing your ticket means you accept these terms and conditions.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring along your ticket on the day – this can be on your mobile device or a printed ticket. This will allow for a smoother registration.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
If someone will be attending in your place, please send an email to Customer Services Team at email@example.com or call us on 0141 332 2444 (option 2) to let us know in advance. For security and H&S reasons we must insist upon this – if this hasn’t been done there’s no guarantee the person will be allowed to attend the course.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Albany is conveniently situated for St George’s Cross Subway station and there is metered on-street parking outside the building. Visit the GCVS website for transport details.
Is lunch provided on this course?
Unfortunately lunch is not provided with this course. However, the Albany Centre has a cafe onsite which has a great selection of freshly made lunch options available daily. Refreshments will be served at break times on the day.
