Developing a Community Facilities Network
April 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
We know that many community facilities are facing a difficult and uncertain future so we would like your help to make sure these challenges are addressed.
We want to create a space for community anchor organisations, halls and spaces to come together, to support each other, share ideas and concerns and to develop a united voice across the city.
As a first step we created a survey to try and help us fully identify the difficulties and disputes that community facilities are facing and to gauge interest in joining a thematic network. Please fill out the survey if you haven’t already done so.
If you’re interested in finding out more about the network, please join us on Tuesday 20th April at 10am-11.30am. At the initial meeting we plan to discuss the results from the survey, talk about the new Glasgow City Council buildings initiative (People Make Glasgow Communities) and discuss more generally how to develop the network going forward. Let us know what would be useful and how we can help support the group.
The event will be held on Zoom. Sign up via Eventbrite and login details will be sent out closer to the time.
