Community Planning Resources
Community Planning in Glasgow was reorganised in 2006 to help everyone
get involved in improving their communities. This means that the
voluntary sector will be able to influence change, alongside the
private and public sectors.
Ten local Community Planning Partnerships have been created, covering
the whole of Glasgow, to work at a local level. These areas are:
- East Centre & Calton
- Govan & Craigton
- Greater Pollok & Newlands / Auldburn
- Langside & Linn
- Maryhill / Kelvin & Canal
- Partick West & Hillhead & Anderston / City
- Pollokshields East & Southside Central
- Shettleston & Bailleston & Greater Easterhouse
- Springburn & Part of Glasgow North East
