Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector is the main development agency and advocate for voluntary and community organisations in Glasgow.
We work alongside community and voluntary organisations, responding to needs through a range of services and training to help them be best equipped for their service users and wider community.
GCVS runs The Albany Learning and Conference Centre .
The Albany is the new home of learning and development for Glasgow's voluntary and community organisations. It is also available for your own events and conferences.
GCVS researches policy-making and government developments affecting the voluntary sector.
We also make sure that you are kept up-to-date with voluntary sector-specific information through events and a variety of publications.
GCVS works in partnership with a number of networks and city-wide orgnisations, including Glasgow City Council. We are also one of the 58 CVSs in Scotland.
