Administration SVQs are based on standards developed by the Council for Administration (CfA), based in England. They represent a wide variety of people working in a broad range of occupations within the business and administration areas.
The Business Administration SVQs are aimed at candidates working in an office environment. There are two levels available.
Admin Level 3
is aimed at secretaries, administration assistants, administrators, admin co-ordinators and PAs.
Mandatory units
Candidates must complete all of these units:
- Carry Out Your Responsibilities at Work
- Work Within your Business Environment
Optional units
Candidates must also complete 4 of the following units, in addition to the mandatory units. Candidates must select a minimum of 3 units from Group B.

- Research, Anaylse and Report Information

- Spreadsheet Software 3

- Artwork and Imaging Software 2
- Design and Produce Documents
- Plan and Implement Innovation and Change
