Business Administration (Level 2)

Administration SVQs are based on standards developed by the Council for Administration (CfA), based in England. They represent a wide variety of people working in a broad range of occupations within the business and administration areas.
The Business Administration SVQs are aimed at candidates working in an office environment. There are two levels available.
Level 2 is aimed at office juniors, receptionists.
Mandatory units
Candidates must complete all of these units:
- Carry Out Your Responsibilities at Work
- Work Within your Business Environment
Optional units
Candidates must also complete 3 of the following units, in addition to the mandatory units:

- Use IT to Exchange Information 2
- Word Processing Software 2
- Spreadsheet Software 2
- Database Software 2
- Presentation Software 2
- Specialist or Bespoke Software 2
- Use a Telephone System
- Operate Office Equipment
- Prepare Text from Notes
- Prepare Text from Shorthand
- Prepare Text from Recorded Audio Instruction
- Produce Documents
- Work Effectively with Other People
