SVQ Courses

Our current SVQ courses are listed below.

  • Advice and Guidance (Level 2)
    This course provides a qualification for front-line support workers, career advisers, personal advisers and recruitment advisers.
  • Advice and Guidance (Level 3)
    This course provides a qualification for front-line support workers, career advisers, personal advisers and recruitment advisers.
  • Advice and Guidance (Level 4)
    This course provides a qualification for front-line support workers, career advisers, personal advisers and recruitment advisers.
  • Assessor and Verifier Awards
    The Assessor and Verifier Awards are nationally recognised and widely used competence-based qualifications.
  • Business Administration (Level 2)
    Administration SVQs are based on standards developed by the Council for Administration. This Award is aimed at office juniors and receptionists
  • Business Administration (Level 3)
    The Business Administration SVQs are aimed at candidates working in an office. Admin Level 3 is aimed at secretaries, administration assistants, administrators, admin co-ordinators and PAs.
  • Community Work (Level 2)
    Do you want to improve your community? Then this is the SVQ for you.
  • Community Work (Level 3)

  • Health and Social Care (Level 2)
    This SVQ is aimed at support assisstants & care workers with no management responsibilities
  • Health and Social Care (Level 3)
    This SVQ is aimed at senior or key support & careworkers who may have staff responsibilites and are also involved in care planning and reviews.
  • Health and Social Care (Level 4)
    This SVQ is aimed at Senior Managers. Deputies and Managers who have line management responsibilites within their organisation.
  • Playwork (Level 2)
    This SVQ outlines the knowledge, skills and competence a playworker needs if they work under supervision. It is aimed at Play Assistants or Assistant Playworkers.
  • Playwork (Level 3)
    This SVQ describes the knowledge, skills and competence a playworker needs to run a play setting and supervise other staff. It is aimed at Play Leaders or Playwork Coordinators.
  • Registered Managers Award
    There are no formal requirements for this SVQ, but candidates need to be an experienced, practising manager in a care environment and able to demonstrate both competence in the workplace to a national standard.
