Source Social Research

Are you well informed about the voluntary sector?

850 voluntary organisations with over 13,000 paid staff work in Glasgow's voluntary sector. Together they bring in £426 million per year, with this being added to by thousands of volunteers contributing in an unpaid capacity.

Source Social Research collates up-to-date information about voluntary organisations in Glasgow.
It disseminates that information through Infobase and Engage .

Infobase is the only information system capable of providing a comprehensive picture of the size, scale and range of activities of the voluntary and community sector in your local area and city-wide.

Infobase prepares tailored reports and briefing papers highlighting key issues for the sector. The briefing papers are available in our consultation area and from the Infobase website .

Count me in!
Infobase is now looking to broaden the eligibility criteria to include groups and organisations that are entirely reliant on volunteers. If this applies to a group you know of or are involved with please get in touch. The Infobase team will add the group to our list that we will be gathering details on in the near future.

Being registered with Infobase makes it easier for other organisations and voluntary and public sector workers and volunteers to contact you. It also ensures your organisation is included in research into the sector.
