Singing for Health – COMMUNITY CHOIR

At  Pollokshaws Methodist Church, 74 Shawholm Crescent, G43

Come along and discover for yourself the proven benefits of singing in a group:

  • Increased circulation and oxygen levels
  • Increased endorphins (‘feel good’ hormones)
  • Reduced stress levels
  • Meet new friends * Smile * Laugh * Sing!!

Sessions run every Monday 1.30pm until 2.30pm -They are fun and informal – no previous music experience necessary, just come along and enjoy some old songs and new songs round the piano!

Please note:  During the next 3 sessions, Mondays 29th June, 6th July and 13th July we are particularly welcoming parents and kids and will have some fun musical games as well as the usual singing

Pollokshaws Community Garden

  • Be part of a positive community project

Sessions run every Friday from 10am until 4pm – and are friendly, fun and informal, come for the whole day and bring a picnic or just for an hour or two. 

Bring the kids, during the Summer Holidays – They’ll love it!!

    the community garden has been really enjoyable during the summer holidays kids have been doing allsorts of activities they have been putting in vegetables and sowing seeds for lovely flowers . Doing a bit of camping and having picnics in good weather too. Kids have also did flower pressing and arts and crafts . My daughter has loved it and it has kept her busy during the summer holidays.:):):):)
