Fund Manager Required for Third Sector Transformation Fund

GCVS is seeking to commission an organisation to develop and manage a new funding stream for the Change Fund in Glasgow – the Third Sector Transformation Fund.

The aim of the Transformation Fund is to make visible the potential contribution and value of third sector activity in keeping older people well by reducing the strain on health budgets in the future.  The fund has been allocated £700,000 and specific investment will go towards projects and activities that can:

  • Demonstrate how they will maximise social capital within communities and work to coproduction delivery models
  • Deliver innovative, effective preventative and anticipatory services that maximise the ability of older people to live independently for longer
  • Build on existing effective services models
  • Work in partnership to scale up proven effective services in a wider geographical or thematic area

Both the fund manager and organisation commissioned to evaluate the fund will report directly to GCVS, in its role as a signatory to the Change Plan.

The successful contractor will have significant expertise in leading on the following key tasks:

  • Programme development & design
  • Programme promotion
  • Application and assessment
  • Approval and Awards
  • Programme Monitoring
  • Evaluation of the programme’s effectiveness

Timescales

Issue of invitation to submit proposal - 22th May

Proposal return deadline - 15th June

Interview date - 25th -26th June (am)

Formal award  - 29th June

Project work commences - 2nd July

Selection process

The initial selection process will be based on the response to the brief only. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview on either 25th or 25th June. Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be held in Albany Learning and Conference Centre.
