• Life of Poverty for Over a Third of Glasgow's Children

  Published: 10 Jan 2012

  The End Child Poverty campaign group has released a poverty map that tells us that over a third of children in Glasgow (35%) are living in poverty. The overall Scottish figure is reported as being one in five children.

• UK Return to Recession

  Published: 1 Dec 2011

  Britain is on course to head back into recession early next year, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development announced on Monday, warning that the UK Government may have to relax its austerity programme to encourage growth.

• MSPs Rally Cross-Party Support for Concessionary Rents
