Healthy Organisations
Healthy Organisations was formed in 2003 to support the development needs of small and medium voluntary sector organisations which have a particular focus on health and regeneration.
The service aims to strengthen the governance, leadership and planning processes of voluntary sector organisations. The service is delivered by GCVS and is funded by Community Health and Care Partnership and Community Planning Partnership.
Organisations are referred to the service by CHCP officers or CPP funding officers.
Once your organisation is referred to the service you can expect:
- An action review meeting with the Healthy Organisations Co-ordinator and the Manager and Chair of your organisation;
- A diagnostic exercise to help you pinpoint your development and support needs;
- An action plan tailored to your organisation;
- Five days consultancy with your dedicated consultants
- Ongoing and unlimited access to your allocated Healthy Organisation Coordinator;
- One day's consultancy with and unlimited phone access to the GCVS Employers' Advice Service;
- Free enrolment to our capacity-building programmes.
