Aim:
To give administrative staff, organisation volunteers and anyone with an interest in website design the confidence to build a basic website using Abode Dreamweaver software for their project or organisation.
The Course Covers:
The course will cover all you need to know about setting up a small functional website. We will examine the principles behind the web and website design as well as the pros and cons. How to set up a site, domain names, email addresses, web hosting etc. and the costs involved. Using Abode Dreamweaver we will design a simple site that you can use as a basis for further development.
The course will also give a brief over view of advanced features of website design such as Flash, XML and Web 2.
Participants will need to have a basic level of computer skills. Please bring along a project you wish to work with.
