Effective Absence Management
Cost: £115 members, £165 non-members

Sickness absence can be costly and disruptive to small organisations, but employers often feel helpless in the face of sicklines. This one day course is for anyone who is (or will be) responsible for managing staff.

Aim:
To improve attendance and learn about how to manage short term and long term absence.

Objectives:
1. To understand the legal requirements regarding sickness absence management.
2. To consider examples of good practice in managing absence and sickness

Situations/tasks that the learning from this course will be useful for:
1. Devising absence management policies
2. Tackling persistent short term absence and long term absence
3. Improving overall attendance figures
