This course helps you to approach report writing as a challenge rather than a chore, and gives you the skills and techniques to produce clear, readable reports. We look at getting clear about what is needed, getting organized and getting going. Explore lots of techniques to help overcome writers block.
Aim:
- To give participants skills and confidence to write great, readable reports.

- To shift the idea of report writing from chore to challenge
- To be clear about is needed by the reader and what to put in and leave out
- To be able to plan and structure the report
- To overcome writers block
- To use plain English with confidence

This course is essential for people who need to write reports including; activity/progress reports, referral reports, annual reports, reports for funding bodies and incident/accident reports.
Please note that you will be required to write a lot throughout the duration of this course. If you are not comfortable writing with a pen and paper please bring alternative equipment, such as a Laptop or a Blackberry, with you on the day.
