Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership’s first newsletter updating on the progress towards health and social care integration in the city has been published and can be browsed below.

The Partnership has appointed a number of senior posts; an organisational diagram outlining responsibility for key areas such as mental health, children’s services, older people, and homelessness is included in the newsletter.

David Williams, former Head of Social Work for Glasgow City Council, will remain in position as Chief Officer Designate, however, parts of the management system are interim until October 2015, when management arrangements will be finalised.

The first meeting of the Integrated Joint Board is due to take place in June and the Strategic Plan for the Partnership should be out for consultation in the coming months.

GCVS has a dedicated web page explaining Health and Social Care Integration and will be providing regular updates on Partnership activities.
