Organisations will find out next week how much funding they will receive next week as allocations from Glasgow’s Integrated Grants Fund go to the GCC Executive Committee and Glasgow Community Planning Partnership Strategic Board for approval. The IGF, which has suffered from a cut of £2m this year, supports hundreds of organisations across Glasgow’s third sector.
Representatives from the Third Sector Forum and GCVS have been meeting with Democratic Services to discuss potential mitigation for organisations affected by funding cuts and will meet again early in the New Year for further discussion. As yet, we do not know what the allocations will be, or what support will be made available to organisations, but we will report again on this issue when we have more information.
We understand that IGF grantholders and stakeholders will be consulted on the remainder of the IGF review process from 2015.
