Glasgow Makes Connections – Free Funding And Support Event For Community And Third Sector Organisations
9.30am – 4pm, Thursday the 26th of January 2017
Glasgow City Chambers
Glasgow Makes Connections, by Glasgow City Council, gives community organisations free access to funders, funding information and support agencies.
The day is primarily intended for small community groups and groups working with Black Minority Ethnic communities, but it is open for anyone from a voluntary or community organisation – staff or Board Members – to attend.
On the day, the event will include presentations from funders, with invaluable advice and tips on making funding applications. Capacity-building support agencies will also be available to advise on the practical help and support that is available to your organisation, so you can find out from the experts about committee skills, roles and responsibilities, governance structures – and much, much more! T
The main feature of the day is a marketplace of funders and advice agencies. Meet the people who assess the funding applications, and the staff who really know how to get projects up and running. Get face-to-face with the experts, plus find out more about the options for growth that are available to your organisation.
