Over the last few weeks we’ve been recruiting for our #SpeakforGlasgowTS Digital Panel -a group of members to help us develop our Manifesto for the forthcoming local elections.

We welcomed some of our Panel recruits last Friday, 10th of February, at a networking and information session, held in the Woodlands Suite at The Albany Centre. This informal get together gave us an opportunity to share more information with members on why we’ve formed the panel and what we hope it will achieve.

We also got to hear first-hand about the challenges our members face and it was really useful to have the opportunity to gather their views on what they feel could make a real difference to the third sector and the people we work with and what they would like GCVS, in our role as third sector advocate, to do in order to make these changes happen.

The feedback and ideas we get from our Digital Panel members – alongside other surveys we’ve carried out – will be invaluable as a basis for our 2017 Manifesto asks, so a huge thanks to all who have been involved so far.

We want to thank everyone who gave up a Friday afternoon to come along, we hope the cheese and wine provided made it a little easier!

We’re still looking for people to join the Panel, since we’re looking for as much information as we can get, from lots of different Member Organisations – big or small!

If you would like to join our #SpeakForGlasgowTS Panel, sign up to our mailing list or drop us an email at comms.team@gcvs.org.uk.
