Albany Community Activities

Get involved in our Spring / Summer programme

The Albany Centre is currently progressing a long-held ambition - to host community-based services and activities at evenings and weekends.

The new Spring/Summer Community Activities Programme offers a mix of activities for everyone, including:

• • Swapping Shoes - Adult learning sessions which bring together groups of people with common experiences and challenges. Delivered by Later Learning.
  • Hands-on cookery classes delivered by the Albany Café chef’s Jamie and Matt.
  • Welfare Reform workshops - covering the benefits changes which are currently taking place.
  • Community first aid classes -  both 'Everyday First Aid' and 'Baby & Child First Aid' delivered by British Red Cross
  • Family Cookery Club 'Broken Biscuits'- featuring local chefs, covering food from around the world.
