Change Fund Application Glasgow 3 March 2011
The Change Fund is a £70m initiative from the Scottish Government to reshape care for the elderly. To access the fund each local authority in Scotland had to prepare a plan outlining how they would approach this reshaping, in partnership with the public, private and third sectors. In March 2011 Glasgow's Change Plan was agreed by the following partners:

Equally Well, the report of the Ministerial Task Force on Health Inequalities was launched by Ms Shona Robison MSP, Minister for Public Health on 19 June 2008.
This was followed by the Equally Well Implementation Plan which was launched on 11 December 2008.

Research conducted by Sheffield and Bristol Universities indicating that health inequalities between the richest and poorest areas of Britain have been steadily rising throughout the first decade of the 21st Century
