Underground

GCVS headquarters is centrally located beside St. George's Cross Underground station.
At the station exit, go straight ahead through the tunnel.
Turn left up the stairway on Melrose Street and turn right into Queen's Crescent. No. 11 is the second entrance on the right hand side.

To get to the Albany Learning and Conference Centre follow the directions above to GCVS headquarters.
Then, at the far end of Queen's Crescent, cross the West Princes Street onto Ashley Street. The Albany is on the next block.

Travelling by bus from city centre

Great Western Road: 20, 41, 59, 66
Maryhill Road: 40, 61
Woodlands Road: 11, 44

Travelling by train

From Glasgow Central Station
Exit the station onto Union Street and turn right. Turn first left onto Argyle Street until you come to St. Enoch Square.
St. Enoch underground station is directly in front of you. Take the underground to St. George's Cross station.

From Glasgow Queen Street
Follow the signs in the station to the underground. Take the underground to St. George's Cross station.

Travelling by Car

From M8 Eastbound take Exit 17 Dumbarton A82 and take left hand land to Aberfoyle A81. From M8 Westbound look for sign for Aberfoyle B811 and take exit 17.

Parking

Parking is limited near GCVS HQ and the Albany. We recommend parking at an underground station and travelling to St. George's Cross Station. The nearest public car park is at Kelvinbridge underground station or Sauchiehall Street Shopping Centre.

Travelling by Air

Glasgow International Airport is 8 miles from Glasgow City Centre. A bus service runs from outside the terminal to Buchanan Street Bus Station. Prestwick International Airport is 33 miles from Glasgow. A train service runs from outside the terminal to Glasgow Central Station.

Access

If you have accessibility needs please contact GCVS prior to your arrival. GCVS HQ has an accessible lift giving access from the rear car park at basement level to the ground floor meeting rooms. The Albany is fully accessible from Ashley Street.
