Extra Tickets Available

Extra tickets for Glasgow’s Commonwealth Games will go on sale on Monday 12th May.  This will be the last big chance to buy tickets for the events taking place in July/August 2014.

Tickets will be sold online via the Glasgow 2014 Ticketing website tickets.glasgow2014.com or via the Glasgow 2014 Ticket Hotline 0844 826 2014 (Option 1), open 24 hours a day. Calls cost 5p per minute from a BT landline. Other networks may vary.

UNICEF Works for Commonwealth Legacy

Glasgow 2014, the Commonwealth Games Federation and UNICEF are working together in an exciting partnership that will transform the lives of children in Scotland and throughout the Commonwealth. Using the power of sport and culture this unique partnership aims to inspire, enable and empower the children of the Commonwealth to be the best they can be.   Find out more about how you can support UNICEF to save and change children’s lives in 2014 here.

Active Places Funding Still Available

The Legacy 2014 Active Places Fund is part of the Scottish Government’s Commonwealth Games Legacy 2014 programme, giving communities across Scotland more and better places to be active, and is administered by SportScotland. Grants up to £100,000 are available to help build or upgrade local facilities such as new bike or skate parks, outdoor adventure facilities, walking routes, or new projects within school estates.

Stakeholder Engagement Event

Glasgow 2014 will host the final Stakeholder Engagement Forum on 27 May, from 10.00 – 12.30 at St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, 2 Castle St, Glasgow, G4 0RH. The forum is an opportunity to share key milestones, campaign activities and opportunities with you as well as provide information on the many Games inspired projects and programmes that are being delivered by our Games Partners.

As places are strictly limited, bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. If you would like to attend please email Events@Glasgow2014.com (stating any access, information or dietary requirements you may have), as soon as possible.
