The Carers Scotland Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament on 9th March 2015.   The Bill will place duties on local authorities and health boards to provide services and support for both adult and young carers across Scotland, aiming to ensure their continued health and wellbeing and enabling them to meet their personal outcomes.  GCVS has prepared a short policy briefing which outlines the key issues covered in the Bill.
