Building Connections would like organisations in Glasgow to share their stories with us.

  • Are you helping people affected by benefit changes and welfare reforms?
  • What has this meant for you, your service and the people you work with?

GCVS and Building Connections Glasgow want to showcase some of the fantastic work happening across the third sector around welfare reform and benefit changes.

We want to hear from services whose main focus is welfare reform, to find out how they operate on a day to day basis, what services they offer and what impact welfare reforms have had on their service and staff.

We also want to hear from services, groups and organisations with a different focus, e.g. mental health, housing or addictions and who are now having to respond to the impacts of welfare reform and benefit changes.

Your story could be a positive one, maybe it highlights good practice, or maybe it demonstrates challenges you faced and how you have overcome them. Maybe you’d like to share some tools, tips and techniques that you have developed to help people navigate the benefit system.

Whatever your story is we want to hear it – so, if you have something to share, please get in touch with Johanna on 0141 332 2444 or email johanna.speirs@gcvs.org.uk
