GCVS recently hosted members of the Scottish Parliament Equality and Human Rights Committee as it carried out its Draft Budget Scrutiny Inquiry.  This inquiry considered the role of the third sector in advancing and protecting human rights, national and local budgets and third sector funding.

We are pleased that the report has reflected on many of the concerns that Glasgow charities and community groups raised at the event in September, and that the Committee has listened to the ideas for change made by those who took part.

You can read the report here.  Thank you to everyone who fed into our response to the inquiry and to those who attended the event with the Committee.  We’ll be watching to see what happens next!
