Annual General Meeting
I write on behalf of the Board of Directors to invite you to the online Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS) on Thursday, 21st January 2021, 09:30am, via Zoom.
Alongside the formal business (GCVS AGM agenda, Minutes of the GCVS AGM and GCVS Final Accounts (31.03.2020)), we are delighted to welcome Annemarie O’Donnell, Chief Executive of Glasgow City Council who will speak about how we can work together for the benefit of Glasgow. After this there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
Appointments to the Board
This year we are seeking four new elected members to join the GCVS Board. All member organisations are eligible to nominate a candidate.
Our Board Recruitment Pack (included appointed board member application forms) explains the commitment involved and our expectations of Board members. The GCVS Board Elective Nomination Form and Equality Monitoring form for Board Members should be returned by end of day on 5 January 2021 either by e-mail, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by post, Membership Services, GCVS, 11 Queens Crescent, Glasgow G4 9AS
GCVS is a signatory of the Equality Action Pledge (www.thepledge.scot) and as such we welcome nominations from those who are too often under-represented on Boards – young people, people of colour and those with disabilities.
RSVP and Voting
Please register your attendance at Eventbrite. Members who are unable to attend the AGM are able to appoint a proxy to attend / vote on their behalf. To do so, please return the GCVS AGM Proxy Form via electronic mail to email@example.com.
