Please see below a important call for views on Employability Policy from the Third Sector Employability Forum.
CALL FOR VIEWS ON EMPLOYABILITY POLICY
This is a critical time for third sector organisations working on employability issues. The Scottish Government has set out its policy intent in No One Left Behind: A Review of Employability Services, and is now in the process of developing its approaches to funding and delivery.
It is essential that the Third Sector’s voice is heard in that process.
TSEF, the Third Sector Employability Forum, is currently undertaking a review of its composition and function to ensure that it can be relevant, effective and well placed to ensure that the third sector voice is articulated in a way that is structured and coherent, and in a manner that will be respected.
As part of this review, it is carrying out an online survey of organisations working in the field. We want to hear your views on the future of employability work in Scotland, and on how the sector can best come together to get informed, influence policy and share practice.
We have had a good response, but it would be very helpful if we could squeeze a few more opinions out of the sector, and so we are distributing this through some local networks as well.
We would be very grateful if you could take 15 minutes to complete the survey which you can access via the link below. The closing date for responses has been extended to Monday 28th October at 5pm.
Thank you in advance, and please know that by completing the survey are helping to shape the nature of the future relations between Scottish Government and those third sector organisations who provide valuable employability support services at a local level.
