From Glasgow City Council:
For centuries, Glasgow has been known as the “Dear Green Place” and renowned for its rich heritage of parks and open spaces, many of which have been in existence for over 100 years.
Glaswegians are, quite rightly, particularly proud of having these amenities at their disposal.
Glasgow City Council’s Land and Environmental Services is carrying out a consultation on a draft Park Management Plan for Alexandra Park. The Management Plan shows how the park will be looked after in the next five years and the resources required.
We would like to hear your views and opinions on the draft Management Plan so that we can take them into account when completing the final plan. You can view the Plans and make comments electronically by visiting; https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/consultations and clicking on “Current Consultations”.
Alternatively, hard copies can be viewed and comments made at following the facilities:
- Dennistoun Library, 2a Craigpark G31 2NA
- Riddrie Library, 1020 Cumbernauld Rd G33 2QS
- Haghill Primary School, 415 Cumbernauld Road , G31 3LS
- Community Hub at Alexandra Park, next to Bowling Greens.
The questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and the consultation will be available until Friday 8th January 2016.
The information gathered will only be used for the purposes of this exercise, and no individual’s information will be published as part of any reporting.
If you require any further information about the plan or the consultation, please contact;
